<-- Back to Indicator list

The Food Safety Plan of Work team has developed evaluation questions which we would like you to use to evaluate the 14 CASPAR food safety indicators. By using the same evaluation questions, it will enable us to capture and report statewide data and results with greater impact statements.

There are a variety of questions you can use to evaluate your programs. If you prefer open-ended to close-ended questions in indicators 2, 3, 4 and 5, you can make this choice.

We have provided you with further instructions, if need be, for several of the indicators when you link to that indicator. For example, several indicators (2, 3, 4, and 5) have an extensive list of practices that can be evaluated. When selecting these indicators, the POW Team strongly suggests you evaluate the non-italicized areas. If you so desire, you can also evaluate those that are italicized.

When you click on the links to the indicators, you will be able to copy and paste the questions into a Word document. The page set-up for all of the indicators, except 3, 4, and 5 are portrait layout. For indicators, 3, 4, and 5, you will need to open up a new word document, go to File, Page setup, and click on landscape, and paste into the landscape layout.

For those of you conducting home food preservation workshops, indicators 2, 3, 4, and 5 include questions to evaluate this program area.

If you have any questions, please contact one of the team members.
